Your Injury:

Enhanced Accident Benefits are included in your Basic insurance and are there to support your recovery. The benefits are available for all B.C. residents injured in a crash, no matter who's responsible (at fault).

Enhanced Accident Benefits are here to support you in accessing all the medical and rehabilitation care available to you. This could include costs like hospital care, chiropractic treatments, medication, physiotherapy, counselling, dental care and more. You may also be eligible for other benefits, such as income replacement and benefits to support you at home – so you can focus on getting better. Your support and recovery specialist will explain the benefits that are available to you, but your doctor or medical practitioner will determine your care.

After your initial car accident you may have some initial injuries and pain. It is best to follow up immediately with your Doctor or Health Care provider for immediate assessment of your injuries. This may include going to the hospital for x-rays or imaging to assess your injuries. Most injury pain will be fully felt 7-10 days after your accident. During the first week after your accident it is recommended you take it easy to help prevent further injury. After your inital appointment with one of our Registered Massage Therapists you will receive information on how to manage your pain and injuries at home and between treatments. Your therapist will be able to recommend hydrotherapy, exercises and additional information on your individual treatment plan.
